Description
7.5" (19 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly parted lips, row of tiny teeth, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, peg-jointing at shoulders and hips, painted white ribbed stockings and black ankle boots with embossed designs at the side, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 1/2 (head and legs). Comments: Germany, circa 1900. Value Points: well-defined features with rich brown eyes enhanced by decorative glaze on brows, rare boot and stocking style.
