13" (33 cm.) Carved wooden socket head, fine gofun finish, enamel inset eyes with heavy eyelids, eyeshadow, painted lashes, open mouth with green accented lower lips, teeth, painted black skull cap with feathering around the forehead, wood/composition torso and lower limbs, padded cloth upper arms and legs, and wearing silk crepe kimono with obi and under-kimono. Condition: very good/excellent, some costume fading. Comments: Japanese, circa 1880. Value Points: included with the doll is an extraordinary selection of 15 interchangeable wigs, each different, with elaborately designed coiffure and ornaments.
