American Wooden Glass-Eyed Giraffe, Closed Mouth, Reduced Size Giraffe by Schoenhut

10" (25 cm.) All-wooden giraffe, double-jointing of neck, glass inset eyes, closed mouth, wooden horns, leather ears, jointing of legs, spotted rope tail, shaded tan/cream painted finish with brown patterned spots, white underbelly and lower hooves. Excellent condition. Comments: Schoenhut, 1905, from Teddy's Adventures in Africa series, the original finish is well-preserved. Included is smaller giraffe with painted eyes and closed mouth from Schoenhut's later "reduced size" circus.
