Description
9" (23 cm.) One-piece carved bone woman with sculpted long straight hair on solid domed head, with crown that attaches by small bone pins, defined carving of facial features, pin-jointed articulated arms, right hand with curved fingers as though to hold an object, swivel waist. Condition: generally excellent, left foot repaired, three fingers of left hand missing. Comments: early 1800s. Value Points: rare doll with shoulder and waist articulation, unusual original crown.
