12" (30 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with sienna-brown complexion, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, row of tiny teeth, black mohair wig, commercial brown muslin stitch-jointed body, composition lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dep (horseshoe mark) 1900 7/0 (head) Hair stuffed made in Germany (body). Comments: Ernst Heubach, circa 1900. Value Points: rare little brown-complexioned doll in fine sturdy condition; included are three tin mechanical wind-up clowns by Schuco, with original costumes (one key included).
