Description
4.5"l. A pair of lithographed tin brown-complexioned jockeys with blue caps and red jackets are each mounted on brown racing horse that is mounted on a pole and attached to the two-wheel base. The mechanism operates from a spring-activated lever at the back of the toy, and causes the horses to bob up and down as though racing, and the wheels to turn. The toy may have been attached to another element. As seen here, it is in excellent and well-functioning condition. Circa 1900.
