Description
7" (18 cm.) Mounted upon a galloping white horse with flowing mane and tail, is a stalwart figure of Joan of Arch with long brown hair, silver armored tunic and helmet, holding sword and shield. The horse is arranged upon a two-wheeled base and, when wound, the horse moves vigorously forward, and Joan rises up as though going into battle. Very good condition, paint is original with some light flaking, mechanism functions well. Attributed to Gunthermann, circa 1885.
