Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) Solid domed paper mache shoulder head with painted facial features, closed mouth, blue eyes, blushed cheeks, on firm upper torso, wooden arms with dowel jointing at shoulders and hips, and with padded full-length skirt designed for use as pincushion. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1840. Value Points: fine original finish on the rare petite doll with wooden articulated arms, and wearing original nun's nursing costume with Red Cross and original coiffe.
