Description
9" (23 cm.) doll. 12" dome. Poured wax head with tiny bead eyes and pronounced nose and chin, with head and body enclosed in original brown and black gown with red hooded over-cape, and arms held in front of body clasping a basket of dried flowers and herbs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, mid-1800s. Value Points: in original state and costume, the doll is presented under original glass dome.
