7.5" (19 cm.) A painted tin toy of adult man wearing a blue cloth sailor costume, tin sailor cap with stenciled name HMS Dreadnought, and shoes is posed in standing position. When coil-spring wound, he can perform two different actions: standing upright he totters from side to side drunkenly, or standing on his head he revolves and waves his legs. Marked Lehmann. Excellent condition, mechanism functions well, costume complete. Comments: Lehmann's EPL model 535, circa 1910.
