Description
8" (20 cm.) cupboard. Of light wood with fine limed finish, the matched set comprises cupboard with center upper panel, settee with elaborate surround including two narrow cupboards and a mirrored back mount, library table, arm chair and three side chairs; each of the upholstered pieces having magenta silk cover with stenciled pattern design, and with fancy gilt ormolu trim. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1900. Value Points: rare and beautifully preserved dollhouse furnishings with original ebony and gilt trim, original magenta upholstery.
