Description
6" (15 cm.) A lithographed tin delivery man with bright blue jacket labeled 770, brown cap labeled "Express", yellow striped trousers, shoes, is pulling a two-wheeled red striped "Express" wagon. When coil-spring wound, the wheels turn causing the man to walk forward on hinged legs. The head is rigid. Excellent condition, finish perfectly preserved, functions well. Marked Lehmann. Comments: Lehmann's EPL number 770, the 1900-era toy was re-introduced in 1928 with coil-spring drive to commemorate the firm's 40th anniversary.
