Description
13" (33 cm.) x 9". The wooden box with lithographed image on the lid of a French schoolroom hinges open to original well-fitted interior featuring the teacher and two young students, each wearing original costumes (the students in plaid school uniform and carrying slate boards), along with lithographed tin globe, awards, teaching tools, certificates, and other school supplies. Excellent condition. The lid is labeled N.K.Atlas Paris. Nicholas & Keller, circa 1910, the firm specialized in creation of boxed child games and learning tools.
