6" (15 cm.) h. bust on pedestal. Including a bisque bust of the French composer Gounod, mounted on wooden pedestal; lacquered box with hand-painted scene; card stock box with engraving of a dapper gentleman; scholar's cap with tassel; silverplate bicycle with turning wheels and attached courier's box with hinged lid; 1898 leather bound book "Our Daily Portion"; carved wooden valise which hinges open to silk lined interior; gilt ormolu frame with matching ormolu cover which hinges open to reveal a tintype of lady with hat; two desk seals, one of silver and one of carved bone; a tiny folding brass magnifier; leather bound box in the shape of a book, and a French gilt metal thermometer marked F.R. Generally excellent. Late 1800s.
