5" (13 cm.) A red and black lithographed tin motor car has four white wheels, and is driven by a uniformed driver that sits at the open front seat, the steering rod held in his hands. The driver has painted blue jacket, white pants and black top hat. When coil-spring wound, the car propels forward or right or left depending how the front wheels are aligned. Condition: generally excellent, mechanism functions well. Marked Lehmann. Comments: Lehmann's EPL 420, one of the first automobiles in the Lehmann line, introduced in 1897.
