Description
8" (20 cm.) l. piano. The mahogany box in the shape of an upright piano has well-detailed brass trim, candleholders, and faux-keyboard which, when pressed, allows the piano lid to be opened for access to the box contents. Along with a miniature Demorest's Gem book, leatherette folio with silver lettering "Musik", leather briefcase containing a slate and pencil and stamped "Philosophen", plaid valise, leatherette folio "Puppen Bilderbuch" with colorful lithographs, doll's roller skates in original box, wooden-handled brass bell, harmonica by P. Pohl, carved bone ball and stick game, and more. Good to excellent condition. Late 1800s.
