Description
10" (25 cm.) A lithographed tin toy depicts a black and white cat with fancy green neck ribbon playfully toying with a little tin mouse that is connected to the cat by a wire rod. When wound, the cat turns in circles, then reversing the turn, on the hidden wheels, appearing to chase the scampering mouse. The cat's head is loosely jointed allowing a realistic nodding movement of head. Excellent condition except the cat's tail is missing, functions well. Marked Lehmann. Comments: Lehmann's EPL model 790, the model, named after Lehmann's nanny was trademarked as "Nina", circa 1927.
