An arched crest niche with spiral columnar sides and scalloped crest has tortoise veneers and carved bone accents, and displays a carved bone figure of Mother and Child with exceptional detail of sculpting. Along with a carved wooden figure of Mother and Child, the two gazing adoringly at each other. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Continental, 18th century. Value Points: luxury materials and workmanship enhance the two variations of the same theme in these early wonderfully-preserved presentations.
