14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with flat-cut neck rim to accomodate the torso dowel, round blue glass eyes with darker blue outer rims, painted long lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with ball-jointed waist, throat dowel at upper torso, tiny ankles. Condition: two tiniest pinflakes at right lower eye rim, hands rebuilt. Comments: attributed to Ernst Grossman, circa 1880. Value Points: important early German child doll with very rare body style.
