2" (5 cm.) l. sewing box. Including a three-humped sewing box with carved bone feet and original paper lined interior containing tiny carved bone sewing tools; red leatherette flat-topped sewing box with gold tooling containing tiny scissors, thimble, awl and needlecase, knitted purse with beadwork designs, framed miniature design of needlework, and a pair of padded homespun waist pockets. Generally excellent. Early 1800s.
