9" (23 cm.) Wooden shoulder head with carved black hair forming into short ringlet curls and coiled braid at back of head, painted facial features, muslin body, wooden lower limbs, painted orange flat shoes, wearing early costume with homespun layered undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1850, the doll holds her own baby wooden doll with long gown.
