Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid shoulder plate, pale blue inset eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth, brunette human hair, cork pate, pierced ears, all-wooden fully-articulated body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, swivel jointing at wrists, hips and upper arms, separately carved fingers. Included with the doll is her antique velvet and silk gown. Condition: generally excellent, chip on big toe. Marks: 4. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1870, a very elegant doll with fine original body finish.
