Description
17" (43 cm.) -19". Each has bisque shoulder head with sculpted bonnet, blonde curly forehead curls, painted facial features, pale blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, brown single-stroke brows, three with original muslin body and bisque lower limnbs with painted brown ankle boots, one with new cloth body and porcelain limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Hertwig, Germany, circa 1890. Value Points: wonderful imaginative sculpting of bonnets, including a pair with woven hats and variation of flower color trim, one in winter hood with fluffy trim, and the fourth with elaborately ruffled poke bonnet.
