Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass eyes, painted facial features, slightly open mouth, four tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, early five piece composition body with painted shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent, fine original condition of body. Marks: a made in Germany 4/0 149. Comments: Germany, circa 1900, the little boy wears his original blue chambray sailor suit and cap, and carries a wooden-handled paper mache dappled hobby horse.
