3.5" (9 cm.) Twelve all-bisque dolls with sculpted hair, facial features and boxes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Made in Japan. Comments: circa 1930s and 1940s. Value Points: including a set of little school girls in various fashionable costumes, and a set of children portraying cowboys and Indians, both sets in original boxes. Along with a box of "Cake Circus Set", made in Occupied Japan, with 11 all-bisque circus figures including clowns, ringmaster, and performing animals, each with painted costume.
