Description
18" (45 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with luminous patina on slightly pink tinted complexion features an oval slender face and very elongated throat, midnight-brown sculpted hair in identical fashion to #980, muslin body with leather hands, antique gown and layered undergarments, red kid slippers. Condition: fine invisible restoration to the shoulderplate. Comments: Rorstrand, Sweden, circa 1845, the rare model has exquisite decoration of hair and hair comb with marbled faux-tortoise shell decorations.
