Description
8" (20 cm.) Painted or lithographed tin monkeys with articulated arms and legs are designed with a pull string attachment that, when manipulated, cause the monkeys to appear to climb up and down the string as though climbing a tree. Condition: generally excellent, jacket of earlier model somewhat dusty. Marked Lehmann (later model). Comments: Lehmann EPL model 385, the early version with flocked jacket circa 1895, later circa 1925.
