Description
23" (58 cm.) Bisque shoulder head portraying an adult woman with blonde sculpted hair in soft curls at the forehead, waved behind the ears into a tumbling cascade of arranged finger curls overall the back of head, a coronet of curls and ringlets at the crown, sculpted ears, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, one finger chipped. Marks: y2 (script on shoulder plate). Comments: Germany, circa 1875.
