19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathered detailing, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume including original Jumeau earrings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Jumeau 8 (incised, and artist check marks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1883, the model was made for only one or two years. Value Points: lovely brown eyes on the early bebe model, original body, body finish.
