16" (41 cm.) Each has art-plaster sculpted head of adult lady with oval face posed in very expressive manner, long slender throat and modeled bosom, artistically-painted face with deeply-set eye sockets enhancing either downcast or side-glancing eyes, closed mouth, mohair wig in soft long curls, bisque arms, attached to wire armature base and wearing exquisite period silk and lace gown or rose-patterned organza gown. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Amy/Baitz (with white hair) Flora/Baitz (brunette hair) (incised on back shoulderplates). Comments: Lilly Baitz, circa 1920, from a series of fashionable lady’s sculpted by the artist and produced in her own studios. Value Points: the side-by-side posing accentuates their distinctive personalities and poses.
