All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted complexion and facial features, outlined brown eyes, fringed lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed "O" shaped mouth, blushed cheeks, sewn-on ears, brunette mohair bobbed wig, stitch-jointed arms and legs, painted blue ankle boots, checkered romper suit may be original. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Ella Smith stamp on body). Comments: Ella Smith's Alabama Baby, circa 1910. Value Points: fine original condition, rarity factors include wig, brown eyes, painted ankle boots.
