18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1078 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 7 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: wearing wonderfully-detailed original folklore vest, pants and long coat of cream wool with black soutache embroidery and red scalloped edge trim, white cotton shirt with red embroidery, kid shoes, black lambswool cap.
