Description
12" (30 cm.) Each is of porcelain, depicting a lady with sculpted crown and necklace, one arm held at side with shawl and the other hand with book which is held across her waist; although the figurines are identically molded, the decorative variations are numerous ranging from hair color to costume style. Each is posed on self base, and one bears the stamp of "Valen-Heber Rouen". Each has dime-sized opening at the back of head with inserted cork, designed for use as flacon. Excellent condition. French, mid-1800s.
