23" (58 cm.) Gofun-finished complexion on swivel head, crepe-wrapped upper limbs, mache torso and lower limbs, enamel inset eyes, black shaded brows, closed mouth, black human hair in bob with bangs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Japan, Ichimatsu child doll, early/mid 1900s. Value Points: rare larger size, in well-preserved condition, wearing padded multi-layered kimono with printed, painted, and embroidered scenes of homes and gardens, in rare shades of rose, with accessories and slippers.
