20" (51 cm.) Gypsum modeled socket head with full cheeks and tiny upturned nose, painted green/grey shaded eyes, tiny brows, white and black upper eyeliner, small closed mouth, long brown human hair, textured cloth body with jointing at shoulders and side hips. Condition generally excellent. Comments: Sasha Morgenthaler studio, late 1940s, the doll is wearing red and white checkered cotton dress having white label with Sasha printed in blue, knit panties, white hand-knit ankle socks, red and natural woven raffia shoes, wide-brimmed braided straw hat, and has most pleasing endearing expression.
