23" (58 cm.) Solid-domed paper mache socket head with black painted skull cap and tendrils of brown hair, painted brown locks of hair, blue side-glancing eyes, brown eyeliner and lower lashes, curved brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ (faint). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1920. Value Points: rare model with fine original finish, wearing original ivory silk Pierrot costume with blue silk covered buttons, matching harlequin cap with pom-pom, original shoes impressed "10", socks, with cardboard guitar, and seated on wooden chair.
