20" (43 cm.) Magnesit head with oil-painted features, blushed complexion, painted blue eyes with detailed outlines and white eye dots, black and brown upper eyeliner, applied thick mohair lashes, single-stroke brows, rounded nose, closed mouth with downcast lips, very soft blonde human hair, stockinette baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (illegible marks on feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1925, the rare wigged variation of "Du Mein" which utilized delicate baby hair in its production. Value Points: rare model with very dear expression, original mohair lashes and wig, beautiful costume.
