Carved wooden head and torso with shaped torso front and flat back, rounded face and shaped throat, inset enamel eyes, painted all-around lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth with thin line lips, blushed cheeks, light brown mohair wig, wooden legs with dowel-jointing at hips and knees, cloth upper arms, wooden hands with "spatula" shaped fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: England, circa 1790. Value Points: especially captivating facial expression with gentle smile, the gentleman wears fine early costume including linen-lined silk jacket, embroidered linen vest with blue buttons, shirt, cashmere breeches, blue knit stockings, slippers, and wearing silk pouch with embroidered details and a gold-plated pocket watch with fob.
