Description
8" (20 cm.) Each has one-piece bisque head and torso, very plump face, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils of tiny nose, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white knee-high stockings and light brown five-strap ankle boots with black heels and accents, silk costumes. Condition: one has a chip on right shoulder, other has left thumb chipped, otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1885. Value Points: exceptional modeling of the plump-faced girl with highly-defined muscular detail of body, fancy boots.
