11" (28 cm.) l. 10"h. The wooden two door cabinet opens to a lacquered burgundy finish, with beautifully painted village scenes in shades of red, gold and green, which open to shelved interior. The scenes are repeated on the lid and sides. Excellent condition. French, mid-1900s, in the Chinoiserie manner of the 19th century.
