11" (28 cm.) Each Barbie has long straight hair with bangs, large blue painted eyes, very full coral lips, two with straight leg body, and two with twist 'n turn body, bendable legs, and real lashes. Each is wearing original Mattel costume in avant-garde style inspired by the designs of Emilio Pucci who designed the actual Braniff stewardess costumes. Included are Hostess Pajamas with harem style pants and purplish closed-toe heels marked Hong Kong; Pucino service dress in two-color A-line style with back belt; Boarding Outfit of lime green coat with industrial zipper front, green gloves and green vinyl boots with yellow detailing, and green pillbox hat with matching wide streamers which is protected by a clear glass helmet; and Raspberry Two-Piece Suit with industrial zipper jacket and decorative chain at jacket edge, decorative Braniff gold paper wings pin, matching pillbox hat with matching wide streamers, raspberry knit gloves, black closed-toe heels. Along with Ken with molded brown hair, tan complexion, blue eyes, straight leg body, wearing pilot outfit of black slacks and an unlined jacket with silvertoe buttons having BI logo, black socks, black tie, black shoes marked Hong Kong, and pilot's hat with BI logo and marked Hong Kong. Each doll owns original Braniff luggage tag. Excellent condition overall. Ken has small rub at crown under hat brim, Puccini costume is lacking shoes. Mattel, with original costumes manufactured by Marx, marketed "For Barbie" in Montgomery Ward catalog, 1967. Extremely rare to find, especially in this inclusive set.
