8" (20 cm.) Carved wooden horse with jointed neck, glass eyes, open mouth, painted teeth, cloth mane, leather ears, leather saddle and harness, thread tail, original metal stirrups, and original painted brown finish with white muzzle and lower legs. Excellent condition. American, Schoenhut, the first version of the rare saddled brown horse with stirrups, presented for Teddy's Adventures in Africa series, 1909.
