Poured wax shoulder head with plump nestled face,blue glass inset eyes with well-defined eye lids,tinted brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with very full lips,separately-inserted baby hair,softly-stuffed muslin body,poured wax lower limbs,bare feet. Condition: old waxed-over repair on left shoulders,left leg reglued extensively. Comments: English,circa 1865. Value Points: especially beautiful wax child with most appealing rosy complexion,original body with illegible stamp on torso,exquisite original gown,undergarments,quilted booties.
