Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,almond-shaped blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading and darker outer rims,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,lightly-feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented pale lips,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,wooden poupee body with shapely torso and derriere,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips,and knees,swivel-jointing of upper arms and legs,jointed wrists,wearing lovely black silk antique costume,undergarments,bonnet,ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent,body is structurally excellent albeit finish is very worn. Marks: 5. Comments: French,circa 1870. Value Points: very beautiful poupee with delicate bisque,choice painting,rare wooden body with deluxe articulations.
