Porcelain shoulder head with almond-shaped cobalt blue enamel eyes,untinted complexion excepting shaded blushing of cheeks,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,unpierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with gusset-jointing,kid-over-wooden upper arms,porcelain lower arms,lovely textured white cotton day dress,undergarments,stockings,leather ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Brevete SGDG (oval stamp on torso). Comments: Blampoix,Paris,circa 1858. Value Points: rare early French poupee with gorgeous eyes and painting,original Brevete mark,original body with porcelain hands,and owning a trunk with an assortment of later-made costumes in the 1860 period style,along with later-dated various accessories and ephemera.
