13" (33 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted hair and facial features, bobbed short curls and bangs in rich shaded ash blonde color, painted brown eyes, red upper eyeliner, long upper lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, rosy cheeks, cotton sateen body cover, oil-painted stitch-jointed arms and legs, bare feet, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Chase Stockinette Doll trademark (and doll head symbol, on torso). Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1910. Value Points: rare model, especially in this smaller size, has wonderful original painting and rarer brown eyes, charming antique costume.
