Bisque socket head,blue glass paperweight inset eyes,painted lashes,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body,wearing woolen costume with matching feathered cap,undergarments,leather shoes signed C.M. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J 3 (raised lettering). Comments: Joseph Joanny,circa 1885,the small exclusive firm had very limited production of their distinctively modeled charming bebe. Value Points: rare model in appealing size,fine quality of bisque and painting.
