Description
23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head with very full cheeks, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, four teeth, impressed dimples at philtrum and chin, blonde mohair wig, early composition and wooden eight loose ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque and painting, original body and body finish, wearing antique costume, undergarments, socks and shoes, along with her original trunk with label of the Philadelphia store G.A. Schwarz, and with various antique costumes.
