8" (20 cm.) All-wooden single-hump camel, S-curved swivel neck, jointed legs, glass inset eyes, open mouth with painted teeth, with carved detail of nostrils, leather ears, rope tail. Excellent condition. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1908, the first style of the Arabian camel has especially well-preserved original finish with shaded tan/brown finish, and is rarely found.
