33" (84 cm.) x 10"h. x 15" d. Two simple wooden-framed rooms have original blue painted exterior walls,lithographed paper floors with elaborate inlay designs,and papered walls with wainscoting and ceiling borders. There are four windows covered with lace curtains,and a wide opening between the rooms. The living room is filled with 11 Biedermeier style wooden furnishings with gilt-accented ebony paper cover by D.H. Wagner & Sohn including rare upright piano with hinged lid and working keys,sewing table with notions,and curio cabinet with blue paper lining,along with crystal and ruby glass chandelier,Maerklin painted tin parlor stove,wonderful soft metal round jardiniere by Babette Schweizer,and various accessories including ormolu-framed book,framed needlework,bone candlestick,parian bust,and more. The bedroom is furnished with a five-piece painted tin bedroom set by Rock and Graner including rare wash stand with faux marble top,along with a Wagner wooden chest with unusual cavalier design on the side walls,fancy towel bar,gilt mirror,bear rug,and four lithographed prints (two of children playing) with ormolu frames. There are six bisque dollhouse people including gentleman with sculpted bisque top hat. Germany,circa 1880.
